This program is for boys’ age 5 1/2 years and up. In our boys’ recreational program, you will find 3 levels: Dynamos, Beginning and Intermediate.
Throughout your child’s time in this program, they will learn and master a set of skills to advance to the next level.
Boys Dynamos
- 5½ to 7 years
- 60min class
- This class is designed specifically for boys utilizing all of the boy’s gymnastics events.
- Boys will progress at this level to acquire strength, coordination, and flexibility.
- Skills learned in this level include:
- Cartwheel and handstand on floor
- Swings on rings
- Support swings on parallel bars
- Pull-over and casts on bars

Boys Beginning
- 7 years and up
- 90min class
- Boys are introduced all of the different boys’ gymnastics events and apparatuses.
- Skills learned in this level include:
- Handstands, cartwheels, and backward rolls on floor
- Pull-over and casts on bars
- Swings and inverted hang on rings
- Support swings and straddle hold on parallel bars
- Student will be promoted to the intermediate level when they gymnast achieves the necessary skills.

- Boys in this level learn more difficult skills after mastering all skills from the beginning level.
- Skills learned in this level include:
- Round-off and handsprings on floor
- German hang on rings
- Back hip circle on bars
- Dismount on parallel bars
- Students in this level will continue to enhance their gymnastics skills through this level.
